Good Shepherd Gala 2016

A desire to help the homeless – and to wear funny hats – brought more than 1,000 people to the Good Shepherd Gala at Paramount Conference and Event Venue on Saturday, February 20, 2016, hosted by Ken Shaw, National Editor and Anchor Weekdays at CTV News Toronto.

Guests enjoyed an evening of fine dining, Live and Silent Auctions, a video showcasing the work of Good Shepherd, and live entertainment – including an Irish dance performance.

The bidding at the Live and Silent Auction was fierce – but the donating was amazing too. The Live Auction started with seven items. But right during the auction, generous guests donated tickets to sold-out concerts for Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Adele!

A photo booth filled with props (yes, there were many silly hats) added to the fun. Dancing to the live band went on long into the night. (Photos now in gallery!)

Our grateful thanks to our wonderful sponsors, donors, and volunteers who made the 20th annual Good Shepherd Gala a resounding success. All net proceeds of the Gala will support front-line services for people struggling with poverty and homelessness – and thanks to you, it will make a real difference to the lives of many.

And if you missed this great event, don’t miss our next one…the Good Shepherd Golf Tournament on July 14, 2016. Call 416.869.3619 x 223 for more information or to reserve your foursome today!
