Ken Shaw, Co-Anchor of CTV News at noon and 6, kept the evening humming as Master of Ceremonies. Bill Salmon, a graduate of the DARE Program at Good Shepherd Ministries, returned to report on eight years in recovery. Bill is a regular volunteer at Good Shepherd Centre, and now mentors others who struggle with both addictions and mental illness.
This year’s video features a sound track by 17-year-old Abby Hall, who attended the Gala and performed live as the video was screened for the first time.
Thank you to the generous sponsors, the guests, and everyone who donated items for the Live and Silent Auction for helping to create a wonderful evening. Your contributions will bring warmth and hospitality to the homeless for the entire year to come.
