When you support Good Shepherd Ministries, you help to:
- serve 400,551* meals free of charge (more than 1,100 meals per day) making our meal program the largest in Toronto;
- provide safe, clean beds for 91 homeless men each night - the equivalent of 33,215 nights of shelter for the year;
- distribute more than 26,000 items of clothing free of charge in a year;
- operate a medical clinic that receives more than 3200 visits;
- helped 120 homeless men enter treatment for addictions through the DARE program;
- provide the Resettlement/Housing Program, which helped 210 homeless men find housing in 2010;
- provide supportive housing for 11 seniors with history of homelessness;
- provide supportive housing for 6 individuals living with HIV and AIDS; and
- welcome more than 4,945 volunteers from across Canada and the United States to help fulfill our mission to serve the homeless and disadvantaged.
