More than 1,000 “Angels Among Us” attended the annual Good Shepherd Gala on February 7. Master of Ceremonies Jennifer Valentyne sang along with the live band and encouraged guests to bid on the auctions.
Speaker Randy Shannon, graduate of the Drug and Alcohol Recovery Enrichment (DARE) Program at Good Shepherd, spoke movingly about his struggles with alcohol and his ongoing recovery.
Thank you to the many people and organizations that helped create a successful event: the sponsors, the volunteers who sold tickets, the many people and companies who donated items to the Live and Silent Auction, and the guests. You are all “Angels Among Us.”
